This is not your father’s office park. When construction is completed on Boca Raton‘s Park at Broken Sound, more than a thousand new rentals will dot the landscape, along with retail stores, hotels and restaurants to mix with the area’s existing 5.2 million square feet of office space.

The vast complex, located on a 1,000-acre swath in the northwest part of Boca Raton, was known as the Arvida Park of Commerce until its rebranding last month.

And with the office park’s new name, much of its land soon will be repurposed as well. Developers say the upscale rentals will start at $1,600 a month for 850-square-foot apartments that will be built among three different residential projects, each scheduled for completion by 2017. Read more
